Awesome 25-minute strength-building workout for quadriplegics (or anyone in a wheelchair) using just mini-bands (theraband’s or loop bands). This is a definite “go-to”.

    I do two of Shawn’s workouts every morning, I’ve done this for almost 10 weeks now. It helps to keep a workout journal to look back on. Seated Cardio Boxing with two pound wrist weights is what I warm up with then I do a modified version of Killer Mini Band Workout. A person can get a really good workout from mini bands.
    I’m starting to make gains such as losing weight I had to gain to have surgery and just my overall strength and stamina is coming back. I was also on bed rest for just over four years because of pressure sores. Talk about fours years of hell I just made it through it. It’s something I never want to go through again.
    Finally I’m back to being independent again I’m a C5-C6 quad and have just gotten to where I can make every transfer from the shower chair to other daily transfers I can make them again.
    So if you’re reading this and going through something similar hang in there it takes a little time and consistency but you’ll get it.
