Forum

We created this forum as a place for the SCI and mobility-impaired community to be able to share useful information and help each other out. I’ve been injured for years and I’m still learning things that make my life easier and it’s most often from another SCI community member. For this reason we wanted to create a more effective way of sharing information and improving each other’s lives. At Zūk, we believe in promoting positivity, living a healthy lifestyle, encouraging and enabling independence, and the idea that we are stronger together. Thank you for being a part of this movement.

SWIVEL SPOONS!

As a C5 quad I am always looking for ways to make eating easier. I have discovered that the swivel spoon is the best if you have wrist function but no finger function. I literally use my spoon every day for almost every meal! I have not tried those swivel Forks because the spoon works for every type of meal and you do not have to worry about trying to stab the food. I take my spoon with me everywhere and I can eat independently!

Here is the link to the spoon that I prefer but there are many other options on Amazon

I hope this helps some of my fellow quads!
